Invite renewal, resilience, and sacred transformation into your space with the enchanting Resurrection Rose, also known as the Flower of Jericho (Selaginella Lepidophylla). This remarkable desert plant appears dry and dormant when at rest, but when placed in water, it slowly unfurls into a lush green rosette — a living symbol of rebirth, prosperity, protection, and spiritual awakening.

For centuries, the Resurrection Rose has been used in folk magic, spiritual practices, and home blessing rituals to attract abundance, encourage fresh beginnings, and clear stagnant energy. Many place it on altars, near entryways, or within prosperity workings as a symbol of life returning after hardship. Each rose is unique in size, shape, and unfolding pattern.

How to Use

Rinse the plant and place it root side down in a shallow bowl of water and watch it gradually open over several hours to days. Make sure water only covers roots and not entire plant. Change the water regularly (when it appears dirty) and allow the plant to fully dry between uses to help preserve its longevity. The Resurrection Rose may be used repeatedly for years with proper care. Do not allow to sit in water for more than one week. Allow to fully dry back into a ball for at least 2 weeks before placing back in water. Store in a dry container to avoid moisture and rot. Ideally airtight with silica packs to keep dry and free from pantry pests. If mold/powdery mildew appears, clean gently with a brush and use natural methods to clear away or kill spores. Remove any rotted spots as needed. Proper plant care will extend the life of your Jericho if you intend to re-use.

Please Note

This is a natural botanical item. Color, size, fullness, and opening speed will vary from piece to piece. The Resurrection Rose naturally arrives in its dormant dry state.
